A dazzling interpretation of ylang ylang flower.

Set to life by House of Guerlain Master Perfumer, Thierry Wasser, ylang ylang glitters and gleams. Blooming in the place where land meets sea, it is sensuous and radiant, carried away by briny breezes with its note of fine sea salt.

Heightened by mellow, honeyed accents, it beams ever brighter upon contact with jasmine. Woody notes of patchouli add a dash of mystery.

A compelling contrast is played between ylang ylang and a fine sea salt note, which accentuates its solar aura.

Sourced from Guerlain's own production channels, ylang ylang stands in supreme majesty within Embruns d’Ylang. This genuine “yellow gold of the Comoros” features floral, spicy, exotic and solar facets.

Nicknamed “flower among flowers”, it grows in the sun of the Comorian archipelago, among the waters of the Indian Ocean. Being too fragile to travel, it is directly distilled on site and transformed into an essential oil.

For this creation, Guerlain Perfumer Thierry Wasser was searching for an exceptional ylang essence with a particularly expressive character. He discovered it in situ in the Comoros archipelago in the Indian Ocean. This olfactory selection reflects the House’s traditional standards of excellence in terms of preserving ingredients of natural origin. This incredible yellow gold from the Comoros is vertical and powerful. It contains exotic fruity facets with smooth, honeyed accents.
