LEE UFAN ARLES x GUERLAIN
LEE UFAN ARLES AND MAISON GUERLAIN ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE 3rd EDITION OF THE ART & ENVIRONMENT PRIZE LAUNCH.
Applications will be open from April 30 to July 30, 2025. The next laureate will succeed Caroline Corbasson, winner of the 2024 Art & Environment Prize, who will present her exhibition Something Moves at the Atelier MA of Lee Ufan Arles, from July 7 to October 5, 2025.
The Art & Environment Prize is awarded annually to works of universal significance. These works are recognized for their philosophical depth, resonating with the ethos of Lee Ufan, and their connection to environmental themes, aligning with the values upheld by Maison Guerlain. Sharing a commitment to artistic support and transmission, as well as to art and environmental sustainability, Lee Ufan Arles and Maison Guerlain promote altruistic and responsible artistic endeavors that foster new dialogues with nature.
AWARD
The winning artist will benefit from a six to eight weeks at the beginning of 2026, with Lee Ufan Arles, as well as a unique production space in the heart of Arles. The residency will be followed by an exhibition of the winning artist’s work, lasting a minimum of two months, during the Rencontres de la Photographie d’Arles, in one of Lee Ufan Arles’ exhibition spaces.
PARTICIPATION CRITERIA & JURY
The Art & Environment Prize is open to all artists, irrespective of artistic discipline, with no age limit or required qualifications, worldwide. The Prize jury will be chaired by Lee Ufan and will include members of the two entities as well Caroline Corbasson, winner of the Art & Environment Prize 2024, and two guest personalities whose names will be revealed shortly.
