AN EXCEPTIONAL RENDEZVOUS IN TRIBUTE TO LUNAR NEW YEAR

To celebrate Chinese New Year, Guerlain unveils the third limited and numbered edition of its Exceptional Rendezvous, in honour of this age-old tradition. For the year 2026, placed under the sign of the Fire Horse, Guerlain has chosen the Parisian jeweller, L’Atelier Truscelli, with the creation of a sculptural jewel for its iconic Bee Bottle. This work of jewellery contains the fragrance Rouge Bonheur, thus sealing an alliance between jewelry and high perfumery.

ROUGE BONHEUR, AN ODE TO FRESHNESS AND LUCK

The 2026 Millésime exudes Rouge Bonheur, an Eau de Parfum exclusive to this rendezvous. A perfect balance between spicy freshness, floral notes, and woody depth, it embodies the very essence of the spirit of the Chinese New Year. Initially captivating with its tangy notes of pepper and ginger, the fragrance then reveals a floral heart combining rose and magnolia, before unveiling comforting notes of cedar and white musk.

THE FIRE HORSE, SIGN OF MOMENTUM AND LIBERTY

This year, the Bee Bottle celebrates the spectacular union of its emblematic bee and the ardent sign of the Fire Horse. An untamed animal evoking momentum, energy, and audacity, the horse is also the astrological embodiment of the tireless quest for success. This hero of legends thus crosses the landscapes of the Chinese imagination, mane blowing in the wind, always in motion. To emphasize the symbolic significance of the piece, the bottle, a Guerlain immutable icon born in 1853 and still made by Pochet du Courval, is dressed in a scarlet red robe, a lucky color in China.

BETWEEN PRECIOUSNESS AND MAJESTY, AN EXCEPTIONAL JEWELRY ADORNMENT

For this celebration, the slender stature of the bottle is adorned with a majestic horse's head, gilded with 24-carat gold and delicately set with 78 Swarovski crystals. Born from the talented pencil strokes of Francesco Truscelli, this animal of ink and paper comes to life thanks to the ancestral know-how of Gonthiez Frères. This precious composition combines an almond-cut crystal to represent the animal's eye, with 77 round crystals cascading along its mane, thus allowing the nobility of the materials and the precision of the jeweler's gesture to be fully expressed.
