Across millennia, the Black Bee has succeeded in adapting to its environment thanks to its unique morphological characteristics, including its dark colour and resilience. These attributes allow it to produce honeys of the highest quality. Currently endangered, just a few of the world’s colonies survive which Guerlain research has managed to identify.

HONEY FROM OUESSANT ISLAND, BRITTANY, FRANCE

Just 18 km off the coast of Brittany, Ouessant Island, a UNESCO reserve, is a remote ecosystem. Endemic to the island, the Black Bee produces honey with exceptional properties benefiting from an abundance of amino acids, polyphenols and trace elements. THE EXPERT CONTOURING APPLICATION TECHNIQUE BY THE FACIALISTS AT THE GUERLAIN SPA

SENSORIAL APPLICATION: Take a pea-sized amount and warm it between your hands, then apply using circular motions from the center to the outside of the face, not forgetting the neck.

1. SCULPT:
Place your right index finger bent under your chin in a hook shape. With your index finger, make smoothing strokes under the jaw, from the chin to the ear. Repeat this smoothing step over the outline of the face and the cheeks.

2. LIFT THE NECK:
Fold your fingers and place your fist under your jaw. Slowly and with firm pressure, smooth using the phalanges moving down along the neck.

How should the Night-Taping Treatment be applied?
Apply the night cream in the evening on the face and neck after the Youth Water Oil Serum. Take the equivalent of a hazelnut-sized amount and warm it between your hands, then apply circular movements from the inside to the outside of the face, not forgetting the neck. Our facialist experts have developed a specific two-step technique:

1. SCULPT: Place the right index finger bent under the chin, like a hook. Using the index finger, perform smoothing movements along the jawline, from the chin to the ear. Repeat this smoothing technique along the facial contour and cheeks.

2. LIFT THE NECK: Curl your fingers and place your fist under the jaw. Slowly and with firm pressure, smooth using the knuckles, gliding down along the neck.
