GERALDINE GONZALEZ: ARTISAN OF LIGHT

In her Parisian studio, artist and sculptor Géraldine Gonzalez handcrafts singular, poetic pieces that seem to emerge from a fantastical garden. She chooses luminous materials – metal, mother-of-pearl, crystal, sequins, etc. – to play with effects of transparency and lightness. This year, she has designed new Guerlain creations and focused her attention on the iconic Rouge G, adorning it in new finery.

Inspired by the chiaroscuro world of artist Géraldine Gonzalez, the new Rouge G jewel case is adorned in gleaming silver, revealing two golden stars set off by brightly sparkling transparent beads.
