Vétiver
description
In the 1950's, the Guerlain family decided to create a fragrance based on the surprising roots of vetiver. After a few trials, the Guerlain Perfumer succeeded in making a subtle dosage that recalls the exhalations of the earth in the pale dawn light. This evocation of the world's first morning is enriched with a woody accord and the refined elegance of spices and tobacco to give rise to a rare and sophisticated fragrance.
Your fragrance, Vetiver Eau de Toilette is shown in the iconic Gold Bee Bottle. The Bee Bottle was created in 1853 by the glassmakers Pochet & du Courval for the Eau de Cologne developed for the Empress Eugenia. Its tile shapes, inspired by the dome of the Vendôme column, are decorated with 69 golden bees, symbols of the Napoleonic Empire.

perfumers secret
Vétiver draws its character from an innovative accord in perfumery, crafted on the basis of vetiver, tonka bean, nutmeg and tobacco.
Incidentally, Guerlain offered a dilution of Vétiver, which was a bestselling fragrance in Mexico for quite a long time. Jean-Paul Guerlain was inspired by this scent to create Vétiver.
