As a homage to the equestrian art, Jean-Paul Guerlain created the first oriental fragrance for men in perfumery in 1965. Habit Rouge refers to the famous red jackets worn by the riders. It is a fragrance mix of earth, warm leather and the forest... This is a high-flying figure, the reflection of mastered, refined and powerful instinct.
Naturally free! Giving free rein to his desires, letting go and being himself. Embracing his masculinity like a second skin, without artifice. This man is agile. He refuses compromise and follows his animal instinct to go where he chooses. Guerlain invites him to recharge himself with this original freshness, both inimitable and endless, which suits him so well.
L'Instant de Guerlain for men
The story of L'Instant is that of a celebration of unique and moving moments of emotion. These instants are both fragile and marvellous, seemingly suspended somewhere outside of time in a place where one moment can change everything and anything becomes possible. Created in 2004, L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme is a fragrance with irresistible charm, which unveils a palette of unsuspected emotions. It highlights the moment when a man takes the initiative of this unique instant, after which everything will be different.
Mouchoir de Monsieur
In the early 20th century, dandies launched the fashion for fine batiste handkerchiefs. Delicately scented, they became their must-have accessory, while elegant ladies hid their gaze behind a black veil. Jacques Guerlain mischievously took his inspiration from this seductive attire to create "Mouchoir de Monsieur" in 1904 for the wedding of one of his friends.
Created in 1959, Vétiver is the first olfactory creation by Jean-Paul Guerlain. It evokes the duality of nature: freshness and warmth, harmony and disorder. The exhalations of the earth after the rain, the fresh air of early morning, swirls of tobacco mixed with spices... All of these sources of inspiration gave rise to Vétiver.
