Guerlain: Website Accessibility Policy April 2019
Guerlain has an ongoing commitment to achieving the highest levels of satisfaction for all aspects of its customers’ shopping experiences, both in its stores and online. As part of these efforts, Guerlain is dedicated to offering a quality shopping experience to customers with disabilities that is full and equal to that provided to customers without disabilities. To assist in achieving this goal with respect to its websites (the “Websites”), Guerlain has adopted the following Website Accessibility Policies (the “Policies”) which are set forth in detail below.
Guerlain’s website shall be designed, developed, and operated in substantial conformance with generally-recognized and accepted guidelines and/or standards for website accessibility (the “Standards”). While these Standards may change and/or evolve over time, they are currently the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 at Levels A and AA (“WCAG 2.1”).
The following specific steps shall be taken to help assist Guerlain in achieving and maintaining substantial compliance with WCAG 2.1 for its Websites.
The Policies primarily contain general information and guidelines and are not intended to address all the possible applications of, or exceptions to, the general policies, practices, and procedures described. This is particularly true because of the individualized nature of inquiries required to assess requests for accommodations and modifications to policies, practices and procedures, on the basis of a disability.
The Policies may be modified, augmented, or discontinued from time to time as appropriate and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and codes governing accessibility. Guerlain will update the Policies to reflect material changes as they occur.
If an employee has any concerns about the interpretation/application of the Policies, s/he should use our contact form.
