ABEILLE ROYALE DISCOVERY, WITH FRIENDS OF THE MAISON

OUESSANT ISLAND (BRITTANY, FRANCE),

HOME OF THE BLACK BEE

As nature’s great alchemists, bees produce some of the most effective skin-healing substances in the world. In the quest to locate some of nature’s most powerful honeys, Guerlain Research visited Ouessant Island a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve located just 18 km off the coast of Brittany (France). This preserved ecosystem is home to the Ouessant Black Bee, a unique species found only on the Island – whose powerful, ultra-pure honey is at the heart of the Abeille Royale Collection.

To mark the occasion, Guerlain invited Friends of the Maison, including influencers Rocío Osorno,
Erika Thompson, Marta Pons, Louis Koo, Rose Lucie, Lena Simonne and Julie Sergent Ferreri for an exclusive visit of Guerlain's beehives.

GUERLAIN'S COMMITMENT TO PROTECT THE OUESSANT BLACK BEE

To protect this precious Black Bee, Guerlain is the patron of the Brittany Black Bee Conservation Association, which ensures its development and protection.
