THE FOUNDATION CONCENTRATE
15 YEARS OF RESEARCH ON THE ORCHID AND CELLULAR LONGEVITY
The orchid, a rare and precious raw ingredient, is the very essence of the exceptional complete care range Orchidée Impériale. A genuine longevity prodigy, the orchid is the most developed species in the plant kingdom. Convinced of its outstanding potential, Guerlain has set up its first ever research centre ever to be devoted to a single ingredient: the Orchidarium®.
This unique research centre revealed the extraordinary powers of a duo of orchids – including Gastrodia elata, an orchid essential to traditional Chinese medicine -, selected from among more than 30,000 species, forming the core of the latest Cell Respiration™ Technology in the Orchidée Impériale The Cream.
For 10 years, Guerlain has been committed to the preservation of orchids in their natural environment. 10,000 orchids have been reintroduced in the Tianzi Nature Reserve in Yunnan, China, one of the world's original birthplaces of orchids.
The Foundation Concentrate is composed of 72,5% of naturally derived ingredients*.
*Based on ISO standard 16128, including water. The remaining 27,5% contribute to optimizing the formula’s integrity over time and its sensorial texture.
Step 1: dispense one measure of foundation onto the back of your hand for natural coverage or two measures for higher coverage.
Step 2: with the brush, take up the foundation and dab onto the face, starting with the forehead, nose, chin, and right and left cheekbones.
Step 3: smooth the foundation outward from the centre of the face using upward movements.
Step 4: blend in using circular movements for an even result.
Step 5: with the brush, tap areas that require higher coverage.
Since 2007, Guerlain is committed to preserving biodiversity, innovating sustainably, acting for the climate and creating a positive social impact. Above all, we seek to protect one of Nature’s most precious wonders: bees.
DiscoverFor 10 years, Guerlain has been committed to protecting orchids in their natural environment. 10,000 orchids have been replanted in the Tianzi natural reserve in Yunnan, China, one of the birthplaces of orchids in the world.
