A vibrant, spiced, woody interpretation of neroli
Under the Moroccan sun, high above the clouds, a vibrant, luminous ascent is buffeted by the spiced heat of desert sands, as expressed by turmeric, and cinnamon. Then, across the dunes, the trail alights among powerful, woody notes of vetiver and sandalwood.
THE FRAGRANCE ARTIST’S TOUCH
“If Néroli Plein Sud were a book, it would be a travel diary by Antoine de Saint Exupéry.” Delphine Jelk, Guerlain Perfume Creation Director & Perfumer
With Néroli Plein Sud, neroli soars along the trail of Antoine de Saint Exupéry. The aviation pioneer was also a friend of the House. A genuine messenger of the skies, he spent many years flying between Europe and Morocco to deliver mail. These voyages south, related in several of his novels, inspired the Guerlain Perfumers to compose Néroli Plein Sud.
MOROCCAN NEROLI
Flying south, the Guerlain Perfumers found a historic terroir of orange trees, once soared over by Antoine de Saint Exupéry. In Khemisset, Morocco, they discovered a uniquely potent orange blossom drenched in sunlight and shaped by the winds of the Atlas Mountains. Organically harvested and hand-picked at dawn, the flower is steam-distilled on site to obtain a floral, bright, vivid neroli essence. The essence of Néroli Plein Sud.

THE ART OF BOTTLING
Taking inspiration from the iconic Guerlain heritage Square Bottle dating from 1870, the L’Art & La Matière bottle embodies a refined, unisex and unmistakably modern design. A truly exceptional object, it is made by the historic glassmakers of the House, Pochet du Courval, and can be refilled in a selection of Guerlain boutiques.
ACTING FOR LIVING BEAUTY
Since 2007, Guerlain is committed to preserving biodiversity, innovating sustainably, acting for the climate and creating a positive social impact. Above all, we seek to protect one of Nature’s most precious wonders: bees.
