LES PRIVILÈGES

A collection of six exceptional fragrances created by Thierry Wasser, paying homage to the House’s historic signature: the ingredients of the Guerlinade, the olfactory thread running through our heritage since 1828.

Creations conceived as vintage interpretations, centred around an iconic raw material and produced in extremely limited quantities. Where exacting formulation, the rarity of ingredients, and precision of craftsmanship come together.

SIX EXCEPTIONAL MILLÉSIMES

At the heart of Guerlain’s heritage lies the Guerlinade. A true invisible signature and a guiding thread through the ages, it is composed around six emblematic ingredients – vanilla, rose, bergamot, iris, tonka bean and jasmine – which Jacques Guerlain considered the cornerstones of all fragrance composition.

Today, Thierry Wasser, the House’s Master Perfumer, reinterprets this foundational architecture through six creations, each dedicated to one of these iconic ingredients. To bring them to life, Guerlain has selected essences from the finest terroirs, chosen for their purity, nobility and rarity, and then refined through extraction and formulation protocols of utmost precision.

‘THESE PRIVILEGED JOURNEYS ARE NEW ADVENTURES. IT IS AN IMPRESSIONISTIC WAY OF EXPRESSING ONESELF.’

THE ART OF RARITY: EIGHT EXCLUSIVE CREATIONS

Rare by nature, these fragrances are intended for a select circle of collectors and discerning connoisseurs. Each cuvée, produced in a limited run of just eight bottles, is offered with a deliberate sense of rarity and controlled temporality. Once sold out, it will never be reproduced. Yet the story continues: a new creation will take its place, extending the legacy of the Privilèges.

THE HOUSE’S ICONIC BOTTLE

A true icon of the House, the one-litre Bee Bottle was the natural choice to house the Les Privilèges fragrances. Majestic even in its history, this legendary bottle was designed in 1853 to hold Eau de Cologne Impériale, presented to Empress Eugénie on the occasion of her marriage to Napoleon III. For 170 years, the design of the Bee Bottle has been crafted by the prestigious Pochet du Courval glassworks, before being hand-painted with fine gold in accordance with ancestral traditions.

Complementing this centrepiece are two 125ml bottles and two 30ml bottles, all of which can be refilled indefinitely.
