Ensuring an olfactory trail that lasts approximately 45 hours, the high-quality wax chosen by Guerlain is enriched with beeswax, offering an incomparable fragrant softness to these iconic notes of the Maison.

Your candle refill is protected by a 94% recycled extra-fine plastic jar to reduce its weight by 90% compared to the glass jar. All the paper materials used are sourced from sustainably managed forests.

The new L’Art & La Matière candle refills are only compatible with the new generation of jars.

The enchantment of a rose picked in the early morning

Magnified in this composition, Grasse rose absolute pushes the queen of flowers’ attraction to extrem. Delphine Jelk, Guerlain Perfume Creation Director & Perfumer, exalts its fruity and honeyed floral facets and increases its intensity, by enveloping it in plumes of incense and intense patchouli. An early morning promenade in May at the heart of rose fields that perfume the air with their fragrances.

THE GUERLAIN WAX

Ensuring an olfactory trail that lasts approximately 45 hours, the high-quality wax chosen by Guerlain is enriched with beeswax and presented in its own natural colour.

THE ART OF REFILL

Crafted using a special pressed glass technique, the Guerlain candle jar is made to last. True to the Maison’s commitment to a more beautiful world, it is compatible with a range of refills.

Real decorative objects that prolong the pleasure of the scents they hold.

THE SCENTED CANDLE GESTURE

For a first use, remove the jar from its container to insert the scented refill. The L'Art & La Matière candles' olfaction and diffusion are exceptional. To preserve them, the wax bars are protected in a case that can be difficult to remove.

1. Use a pair of small scissors to delicately deepen the two incisions in the tabs.
2. Once the incisions have been deepened, grasp one of the sides of the plastic cover. Pull firmly to tear the cover along the incisions.
3. For a candle refill, remove any wax residue in your candle jar before inserting the refill.
4. Once the wax block has been released, place it in the jar provided for this purpose.

Allow your candle to burn for 2 to 3 consecutive hours until the entire wax surface has melted.

For future use, do not leave the candle burning for more than 2 consecutive hours.

Once the candle has been blown, cut the wick and ensure that it is straight and centred. Cut the wick regularly to 1cm.
