The iconic Bee Bottle is adorned with an exceptional ornament: a dazzling, metallic gold moon, enhanced by a star embellished with glass beads that sparkle with a thousand of reflections. An enchanting adornment full of enchantment and sparkle, echoing the majestic sculpture designed by Géraldine Gonzalez for the one-litre Bee Bottle.
Inspired by the exuberance and preciousness of the Baroque movement, Géraldine Gonzalez is also known as the “sculptress of light”. For each of her creations, she selects materials that reflect or allow light to pass through - metal, mother-of-pearl, crystal, sequins, paper - and enjoys playing with transparency and lightness. Her singular, poetic pieces, handcrafted in her Parisian studio, create an atmosphere of weightlessness and seem to emerge from a veritable fantastic garden.
The Bee Bottle has been combining art and craftsmanship for 170 years. Crafted by glassmaker Pochet du Courval, it is adorned with festoons and bees, whose reliefs are enhanced with gold. A golden cord is then attached by hand by the Dames de Table of the Guerlain ateliers. The resplendent jewellery designed by Géraldine Gonzalez sublimates the precious bottle and adds a touch of magic to this exceptional piece.
