The fragrance artist’s touch

Lavender

The lavender used by Guerlain blooms in the south of France, in the region of Drôme Provençale. It is harvested in summer, then steam-distilled on site in order to obtain its essence. This lavender gives Frenchy Lavande its aromatic, floral freshness.

First brought to the spotlight in 1853 with Eau de Cologne Impériale, lavender has since asserted itself within the House’s most iconic trails.
