Support for scientific reseach
Convinced of the vital role science plays, Guerlain is committed to advancing research by supporting university teams working on issues related to pollinator protection.
Since 2024, Guerlain has been supporting a chemistry researcher from the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. His work focuses on developing dietary supplements made from trace elements to help strengthen bees’ natural immunity, based on the analysis of pollen collected from various hives.
As part of its partnership with the Insectarium of Montreal through the Espace pour la vie Foundation, Guerlain also supports the research of a PhD student studying how climate change affects pollinators in Nunavik, a region in northern Quebec. This project involves Inuit youth in biodiversity monitoring through the "Sentinels of Nunavik" program.
