The duo of orchids at the heart of the highly concentrated Cell Respiration™ technology regulates the level of oxygen in the skin cells. The cells can breathe again and maximise energy production which boosts cell regeneration* for a visible reduction in the signs of ageing.

This technology is combined with the redensifying action of a natural origin ingredient**:
Tigernut extract, which strengthens the structure and cohesion of the fibres supporting the skin*.

Queen in the plant kingdom, it possesses prodigious cell longevity mechanisms, enabling it to bloom for years. Convinced of its infinite potential for the skin, Guerlain created, more than 15 years ago, the first research center ever dedicated to an ingredient: the Orchidarium®. Researchers have identified a prodigious duo of orchids selected from more than 30,000 species, and consolidated their power into high revitalization technologies.

THE CELL RESPIRATION™ TECHNOLOGY

The Longevity Concentrate is enriched with the Cell Respiration™ technology which concentrates the exceptional replenishment power drawn from an extraordinary duo of orchids. It helps regulate cellular respiration, fight oxygen deficiency and improve skin revitalisation¹. Signs of ageing are visibly improved.

The Longevity Concentrate is also enriched with tigernut extract for a redensifying effect¹, and with rosa multiflora fruit extract, that acts on the pores². Tigernut sedge is a herbaceous plant belonging to the same botanical family as papyrus. The small tubers are used in ayurvedic and traditional chinese medicine for its numerous properties. Rosa multiflora is one of the best-known wild rose species in Asia, particularly in Japan. The hips are red to purple when ripe and contain a number of active molecules, in particular flavonoids.

The massage technique devised by experts from the Guerlain Institute optimises the redensifying action of this serum:

1. Working outwards from the centre, apply to face and neck with circular movements.
2. Pinch the skin and give the wrists a quarter turn, repeating over the entire face.
3. Place your hands in a V shape on the lower part of the face and, moving upwards, apply pressure with a wave-like motion.
4. Tap with fingertips all over the face.
