CHERRY BLOSSOM
2021 EDITION
Each Spring, the Japanese gather around cherry trees to admire them as they blossom.
For the 2021 season, Guerlain celebrates and pays tribute to this tradition with an exceptional, limited and numbered edition of the CHERRY BLOSSOM perfume.

A FRAGRANCE AS FRESH AS A CHERRY BLOSSOM PETAL
In 1999, Jean-Paul Guerlain created Cherry Blossom, an olfactory poem inspired by the Japanese tradition of hanami. His tribute is a delicate, tender pink Eau de Toilette that expresses itself in three verses, as graceful and limpid as a haiku.
Imbued with the grace of Spring, the fresh and floral fragrance reveals itself like a cherry blossom, infused with the luminous accents of green tea and jasmine, and enhanced by powdery lilac and tangy bergamot notes.
A BOTTLE ADORNED WITH DELICATE PAPER SAKURAS
This springtime fragrance has now become itself an annual tradition.
Guerlain has chosen the winner of the 2019 Tour Eiffel Design Award, the young Parisian designer Lucie Touré, to adorn the iconic Bee Bottle manufactured by Pochet du Courval, the House’s historic glassmaker since 1853.
Her contribution offers a fresh, spontaneous interpretation of the beauty of blossoming cherry trees in the Spring.

CRAFTED BY LUCIE TOURÉ
Meticulous work of color to mirror the delicate pink tinge of the paper petals. Precious pearls of glass and crystal nestled inside the heart of the flowers. Blossoms linked into a delicate necklace using the techniques of jewelry, ending in tiny golden chains. A virtuoso, Lucie Touré draws from several crafts to turn each bottle of Cherry Blossom into a unique, poetic piece.
