Inspired by the exuberance and preciousness of the Baroque movement, Géraldine Gonzalez is also known as the ”sculptress of the light”. For each of her creations, she selects materials that reflect or allow light to pass through - metal, mother-of-pearl, crystal, sequins, paper - and enjoys playing with transparency and lightness. Her singular, poetic pieces, handcrafted in her Parisian studio, create an atmosphere of weightlessness and seem to emerge from a veritable fantastic garden.

05 FROM DREAM TO REALITY: THE ART OF EXCEPTIONAL SCULPTURE
Each of the 64 pieces in this limited edition has been handcrafted in Géraldine Gonzalez’s Parisian workshop, using exceptional craftsmanship that requires long hours of work. It all starts with a dream: Géraldine Gonzalez enjoys designing her future creations by letting her imagination run wild. Then comes the essential stage of sketching on paper, followed by three-dimensional modelling using wire, beads or paper. The choice of final materials is then made naturally as the creation progresses.
