The Guerlinade is a memory, a heritage. Bergamot, rose, jasmine, iris, tonka bean, vanilla: for nearly two centuries, these six iconic raw materials have composed an instantly recognisable olfactory signature. By entrusting the Bee Bottle to Begüm Khan, we have chosen to create a dialogue between history and creation, to affirm the vitality of a heritage, and to offer the fragrance a tangible extension. This edition therefore embodies the meeting of two worlds. Guerlain, founded in 1828, which elevated perfume to an art form, and Begüm Khan, heir to a savoir-faire shaped by centuries of Eastern traditions.
02 THE DREAMLIKE WORLD OF BEGÜM KHAN
Jewellery designer Begüm Khan grew up in a family of Ottoman art collectors. Deeply inspired by the Orient, the treasures of the past and the richness of Istanbul, she created her jewellery brand, Begüm Khan, in 2012, blending art, design and fashion. Her creations evoke nature and transpose it into a refined, almost magical world. Sensitive to craftsmanship, she mainly works with stones or crystals set in bronze or gold using a paving technique in her workshops in Istanbul.
03 A PRECIOUS GARDEN WITH SPARKLING REFLECTIONS
This Exceptional Art Piece marks the encounter between the House’s signature scent, the Guerlinade, and the dreamlike, floral world of Begüm Khan. Gold, bronze, gemstones and sculpture intertwine on the glass bottle, with the iconic silhouette becoming the backdrop for a lush setting. The iconic flowers of the Guerlinade – jasmine, rose, bergamot, vanilla blossom… – delicately set, bloom alongside bees and frogs with shimmering highlights to create a breathtaking display.
04 A CRAFTSMANSHIP OF HIGH-PRECISION
Begüm Khan has designed a piece of jewellery in bronze plated with 24-carat fine gold, set with 8 353 gemstones placed one by one using the pavé technique. She has combined a thousand years of Ottoman craftsmanship with new technologies and innovations, notably synthetic stones, which ensure a remarkable colour harmony. Each piece is handmade in Istanbul in the artist’s workshop and takes nearly ten days to complete. This high-precision craftsmanship gives each piece its singularity.

Vanille Planifolia Extrait 21 captures vanilla in its purest form: 30% concentration for a warm, velvety signature. Enhanced with spicy notes, it unfolds into a musky trail, illuminated by opoponax, Guerlain’s iconic amber accord.
