Eau de Cologne du Coq is all the delicate yet tangy freshness of a spring morning. As light as a gentle breeze, this eau is composed of citrus notes such as lemon, bergamot and orange as well as aromatic scents such as rosemary and lavender.

LAVENDER

The lavender used by Guerlain flowers in the South of France. It is harvested in summer and then steam-distilled on site to obtain the essence. It gives the fragrance its aromatic and floral freshness.

BERGAMOT ESSENCE

Also known as “Calabrian Green Gold”, this precious citrus fruit brings an exquisite green floral citrusy freshness.

ROSEMARY

Harvested primarily in Tunisia, the rosemary essential oil is obtained by distillation of the branches. This essence exudes an exuberant, camphoric aromatic note.

LEGENDARY BOTTLE

In 1853, Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain was appointed the official perfumer to her Majesty the Empress Eugénie. He created Eau de Cologne Impériale for her, along with the Bee bottle, custom-made by the glassmaker Pochet du Courval and covered in 69 bees, the emblem of the Empire. This legendary bottle continues to enshrine the elegance and history of Guerlain’s perfumes, revisited here in a sprayable version for the Colognes created by the five generations of perfumers.
