L'Heure Bleue 100ème Anniversaire
by Baccarat & Gripoix
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of L’Heure Bleue, two talented artistic craftsmanship houses pay it a vibrant tribute. In its Extract version, the legendary fragrance slips into the emblematic Guerlain Quadrilobe bottle, exceptionally dressed in a deep, magnetic blue, direct-dyed by the craftsmen of the Baccarat crystal manufacturing factory. On its neck, it wears a sumptuous jewel exclusively designed by Gripoix. This illustrious creator of Parisian couture jewellery, which has worked with the most prestigious couturiers, creates a real jewel for Guerlain: a bouquet of violets in crystalline glass paste, chiselled with fine 24k gold, which is wrapped around the bottle’s neck to scintillate at nightfall.
Only 43 numbered bottles worldwide.
L'Heure Bleue was inspired by a fleeting impression in 1912. In its Extract version, an armful of carnations and neroli, refreshed by bergamot and an audacious anise note, gets wrapped up in a powdery breeze of iris and violet before settling into a bewitching base of vanilla, benzoin and tonka bean.
Founded in 1869, Gripoix is the ultimate Parisian couture jewellery house. These jewellery creations, steeped in precious emotions, are an encounter between the traditional art and know-how of adornment-makers, stone-setters, gilders and enamellers. True magicians whose skills bring these adornments to life.
