L'Âme d'un Héros
Eau de Toilette
Guerlain has always had a passion for beautiful stories, especially those with legendary characters such as Coriolanus, who inspired Shakespeare and Beethoven. After the world of theatre and that of music, this figure from Ancient Rome now enters the world of fragrance. In 1998, Jean-Paul Guerlain composed Coriolan, now re-edited under the symbolic name of L’Âme d’un Héros.
The fragrance is showcased in a bottle with clean lines, simply framed in wood for a terribly contemporary allure.
Aromatic, Woody, Fresh.
Authentic, aromatic, reassuring.
Top notes: bergamot, lemon leaf, neroli, sage.
Heart notes: ylang-ylang, absinthe, pepper, juniper berry.
Base notes: vetiver, patchouli, benzoin, everlasting flower.
The Guerlain perfumer’s imagination was sparked by Coriolanus, the romantic warrior of Ancient Rome, to create a breakaway incandescent fragrance. In particular, he decided to add an absinthe note as a reference to this liqueur with strong sensations, a source of inspiration dear to artists.
