Once upon a time, four centuries ago, in India, there was a love that knew no bounds. For his beloved wife, the princess Mumtaz Mahal, the emperor Shah Jahan ordered the creation of the most luxurious gardens of Shalimar as a setting for their love. Later, he erected the Taj Mahal, a marvel admired by the entire world. This fabulous story inspired Jacques Guerlain to create an exquisitely seductive scent, the world’s very first oriental fragrance: Shalimar. Now, Thierry Wasser has breathed new life into this legendary perfume, taking it to the heights of sensuality in an entrancing, luminous creation to be worn like a precious jewel. Shalimar Souffle de Parfum, a gently perfumed caress.

Tender floriental.
Fresh, luminous, cocooning.
Shalimar Souffle de Parfum unveils fresh and light citrus note of bergamot, lemon and mandarin.
The luminous heart gives way to an armful of jasmine Sambac from India combined with an unprecedented orange blossom water absolute note.
Deep inside, the vanilla from India and Tahiti exalts a delicate sensuality, whereas the overdose of white musk reveals its addictive and cocooning facet.

To emphasize and give to the orange blossom its honeyed notes, Thierry Wasser used orange blossom water absolute. This absolute is the result of a very specific process. First step, distillation, to obtain the orange blossom water, then, extraction, to collect the precious absolute. This powerful absolute accentuate the floral trail of the fragrance.
